Thank you for taking the time to write this out and post it – it’s these sort of critiques that can only help improve and inform my work.

I understand your frustration – it’s similar to what I was going through when I was trying to get eyes on the WIDK part of the experience. While I floated it out there in ARGland, I didn’t push it because I didn’t want to be spammy. I also was concerned with the ARGnet article coming out so late, which is why I wanted to be clear that it was ending soon as my contract was up that Saturday (although I worked a couple of days over to make sure that everyone got to the end. This is not because I am a Fabulous Human Being but because I can’t stand having loose ends out there.)

To be completely blunt, I much prefer creating the type of experience that preceded the screening. The post-game ARG was an experiment with some successes and failures. It would have been totally fun to have someone as involved as you in the beginning. Next time I’ll be a loudmouth. ;)

re: project naaczaal

status briefing, sept twenty-two

we are now concluding feasibility studies and preliminary research for project naaczaal analysis indicates a high probability of success and small-scale prototyping has begun. as of now we are several weeks behing schedule, but are working to collect data resources and technologies that would accelerate the project by thirty percent. cost analysis shows that internal resources on hand are still insufficient. all availbable resources have been reassigned to naaczaal where possible. we are continuing wotj existing funding strategies as per the previous funding methods report and anticipate full funding levels will be reached by 3 10 2011. if not significantly sooner.

Juancho – I get that you’re calling me a fool, but are you also saying that I’m not smart? I’ll admit that I may be foolish about a great many things, but no one (outside of my brother) has accused me of being dumb. But then again, maybe that’s because I do actually think for myself and understand what’s going on.

I know that you’re just trying to “save” little old clueless me, but have you actually considered the fact that I don’t need saving? That I don’t need my eyes opened to the cruelty of the Internet? That maybe, just maybe, I know what the fuck I’m talking about? Probably not since you’re too busy Googling terms you found on “scam” websites to find confused and deluded souls that you can enlighten instead of actually checking to see that they aren’t deluded after all.
